Octagon House was a collaboration with an architect to restore and convert a large church into a modern family home. The unique project saw the careful preservation of the exterior fabric of the church whilst the building internally was thoroughly modernised. The entrance to the scheme was on the first floor which encompassed the whole of the octagonal worship space. This would become an open plan kitchen, living, dining room with each function defined within each corner of the space.

The property's master suite and two additional bedrooms with ensuites were located within the roof void with a central gallery looking down into the church. The ground floor included a large open hall, two additional bedrooms, ensuites and a utility room. The project was designed from conception through planning and working drawings created to tender stage. The project has since been completed and features in a variety of interior design and architectural media.
