We chose to work with Adam after meeting with him. He was very professional and friendly and was very keen to listen to us and our ideas. We found our house and it was a little run down and in need of some TLC as well as having a real opportunity to extend. We knew that this house would be our forever home and one where we wanted to raise our family. Adam took this on board and went away and started sketching ideas. Throughout the entire process, we met regularly and communicated via email and phone calls. What we loved about working with Adam was his enthusiasm and passion – he really wanted to design the best home he possibly could for us and it really felt as he was invested in our dream as much as we were. 

When meeting with Adam, during the initial ideas phase, he was easy to bounce ideas off and always tried to accommodate our wishes no matter how extravagant some of them were!  We needed to have a column in the middle of our open plan room yet we didn’t want it to be seen. Adam integrated the most magnificent fire place in to the design and it really is the perfect feature of the room. When going through the drawings with us, Adam was clear and took his time. I find visualising the end result difficult, and Adam knew this and had 2D and 3D drawings from different perspectives ready to ensure I knew exactly what he was thinking. 

Once the designs were finalised, Adam even came and met with our neighbours to talk through the project and to answer any of their concerns and worries as well. We then submitted his drawings to the planners, where he had written such a detailed proposal including research of projects surrounding us, and telephone calls to the council to ensure they had everything they needed, and we were given permission in a short amount of time.

Once we had chosen our builder, Adam project managed the site for us which was a huge help and weight off our shoulders as we had to move out of the house and were over an hour away. Adam was on site 3-4 times a week to answer any questions from the builders, to ensure the house was being completed exactly to the plan and to ensure the builder’s tea breaks were kept to a minimum! As we saw the rooms being built, we were even discussing making some changes which didn’t faze Adam at all and within days, we had amended drawings sent to us to agree and then sent to the builders. It was a great feeling knowing that Adam was there – somebody we could trust to build our dream house. 

We have now been back in our house for over a year and there isn’t anything that I would change about it. I love pulling up on to our driveway and walking through the front door – we still can’t believe this is our house. Thank you so much Adam
